Idha Sweden becomes part of Movement Software
Acquisition of Idha Sweden to strengthen the service offering within Transportation & Logistics.
Idha, which stands for Intelligent Drivers Hour Analyzer, has provided web-based systems for storing and evaluating digital tachograph data since 2006. The Idha Online platform helps transport companies maintain legal compliance by saving, analyzing, and monitoring driving and rest times for professional drivers.
Movement Software CEO Björn Ekström stated: "Idha is another welcome addition to the Movement Software group, which continues to grow with strong companies to further develop our service offerings for both new and existing customers."
The company currently maintains its primary customer base in Sweden but aims to expand throughout Europe. Jonas Weiss Sandström, CEO of Idha Sweden AB, commented: "With over 15 years of experience in digital tachographs resulting in a market-leading product, we are proud of the journey we have made so far."
He added that the acquisition represents "a long-awaited and important step to execute our long-term expansion strategy," enabling the company to support more transport and workshop customers across Swedish and European markets.
The acquisition became effective June 13th, 2024, with Idha Sweden AB operating as a wholly-owned Movement Software subsidiary.
