Movement Software appoints Mikkel Leffers Svendstrup as CCO for Geopt

Movement Software strengthens its Transportation & Logistics offering by appointing Mikkel Leffers Svendstrup as the new Chief Commercial Officer for Geopt — the group’s cross-company initiative in geodata, route and resource optimization, and precision deliveries.

In his new role as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Mikkel will lead the commercial development of Geopt, an initiative involving three of the group’s companies: Geposit, TetraSoft, and Dimaps. The companies will jointly develop and package solutions building on existing services in geodata and advanced route and resource optimization. The aim is to meet the growing demand for digital tools that streamline logistics flows — from accurate address data and smart route planning to higher delivery precision in last-mile and last-meter.

In addition to the CCO role for Geopt, Mikkel also takes on the position of CEO for the Danish companies Dimaps and TetraSoft.

"Mikkel joins at a stage where we are driving the development of a more unified and stronger offering in route and resource optimization and logistics. His experience in building and scaling SaaS businesses in international markets, combined with his commercial focus, is a key component for our companies in the group. This is a business area with great potential and Mikkel is exactly the right person to drive it forward" — Björn Erlandsson, Vice President, responsible for Transportation & Logistics.

Mikkel Leffers Svendstrup brings over 15 years of experience in driving and executing growth and pricing strategies, and international go-to-market work within SaaS companies. Most recently, he served as Vice President at the global software company Aceve.

"What attracted me is the energy of the people and the opportunity to step into a dynamic growth phase where we both build and accelerate — where I can contribute by creating strong commercial teams and turning strategy into practice. I was also drawn to the transport sector, which faces major changes with a growing need for advanced and niche software services." — Mikkel Leffers Svendstrup
