Movement Software welcomes Business Development Manager

Movement Software welcomes Business Development Manager

Olle Carlsson joins as Business Development Manager.

Who is Olle?

"I was born and raised in Stockholm, graduated as a mechanical engineer from Linköping University. I now live in Alingsås with my partner and our two-year-old son. This spring we're also expecting our long-awaited daughter!"

What have you done previously?

"I've always had a technical interest and wanted to understand how the world fits together, how things work and how they can work better. After graduating, I worked for a few years as a management consultant at Triathlon Consulting Group, primarily with strategy development for some of Gothenburg's large industrial companies. Then I switched to the food industry where I worked at Greenfood/Picadeli for the past five years. A very exciting and instructive time where I worked in an internal management consulting role with both strategic and operational projects to drive synergistic effects between the group's companies, carry out product launches and market introductions, drive efficiency initiatives, and general analysis and strategy development."

Why did you apply to Movement Software?

"I felt there were tons of fun and important things to do here, and that I could come in and add great value with my profile and previous experiences. During the recruitment process I also met people who truly care about what we're doing. There's a clear belief in Movement Software as a group and where we're heading. With the new ownership through Axcel, a very exciting growth journey has also begun, and being part of that phase is really exciting!"

What does your role as Business Development Manager involve?

"In short, I'll be driving business development within the group with a particular focus on capturing synergy effects between the group's companies. This could involve packaging joint offerings based on different companies' products, gathering and sharing best practices within the group, or working on integration of new companies. To succeed with this I'll be making analyses and assessments of where and how we should focus our efforts, and then be a driving force to move value creation forward and work smartly across the group's company boundaries."
