TetraSoft becomes part of Movement Software
Acquisition of Danish Tetrasoft A/S, a leading provider of route optimization.
To further strengthen its overall service offering, the Nordic software group Movement Software has acquired Danish Tetrasoft A/S, a leading provider of route optimization solutions for transportation and service sectors.
Since 1999, Tetrasoft has delivered route optimization and fleet management through its core products MapBooking and MapFleet, establishing itself as one of Denmark's premier software companies in Transport Management Software. This acquisition aligns with Movement Software's strategic focus on vertical markets, particularly Transportation & Logistics.
Movement Software CEO Björn Ekström stated: "By Tetrasoft becoming part of Movement Software, we add a strong and well-managed company to the group." He highlighted that Tetrasoft's advanced route optimization algorithm and developed services complement existing offerings while creating collaboration opportunities across the group.
Tetrasoft CEO Karsten Sand Bloch expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: "Together, we will be able to reach even greater heights." He emphasized future focus on collaborating with sister companies to enhance products, improve customer satisfaction, and expand into new markets through shared route optimization expertise.
The acquisition became effective March 1, 2024, with Tetrasoft A/S becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary within the Movement Software group.
