Tickoff becomes part of Empori

Empori, part of Movement Software, acquires app and IoT company Tickoff. The acquisition strengthens Empori’s position as a complete digital provider to the vehicle industry and broadens the group’s total offering of digital solutions in transport and logistics.

Tickoff is a Swedish IoT company that develops and sells cloud-based solutions for identification, access, payment, and control of operations and machines. Tickoff’s systems are delivered throughout the Nordics. The company’s software solutions and hardware integrations are primarily used in unmanned car and truck washes, where customers can start and pay for the wash directly via their smartphone. The system also provides wash facility owners with decision support regarding occupancy, pricing, campaign management, and potential operational disruptions, as well as automated invoicing.

For Empori, the acquisition represents a strategic step forward in broadening its product portfolio and strengthening its position towards the vehicle and fuel industry. At the same time, more opportunities for new customer and product synergies are created within the group, where several companies work within transport management and fleet management.

"We want to become an even stronger partner to our customers in the vehicle and transport sector and service stations. Tickoff has an advanced and niche product that complements our offering very well, and where we also share a common customer base." — Robert Wedin, CEO Empori.

"This is very exciting for us. We have had a strong product but have lacked the organization to scale, package, and take this further. Together with Empori and Movement Software, we now have the right conditions and muscles to scale up and take our solution to more markets, including internationally." — Göran Nybom, founder and CEO Tickoff.
